About the Forum
Fudan-Guanghua International Forum for Young Scholars aims to create a platform forinternational academic exchange and cooperation amongyoung scholars across research fields. An important purpose of the Forum is to contribute to Fudan University’s ‘Extraordinary 2025’ Faculty Recruitment Project by attracting young researchers from around the world to work at theUniversity.
The Humanities and Social Sciences Sub-Forum 2017 will be held at Fudan University on June 2nd, 2017 and cover the following subjects: Chinese Language and Literature, Foreign Languages and Literature, Journalism, Art, History, Philosophy, Law, Politics, Sociology, Economics, Finance, Marxist Theory, and Management.
Application requirements:
Applicants must
1. be below the age of 45;
2. have a PhD degree from an internationally reputable university and remarkable research achievements;
3. have the intention to apply through Fudan University for the national “Thousand Young Talent Program”, the “National Special Support Program for High-level Talents”, “Changjiang Scholars Program” of The Ministry of Education, “Excellent Youth Fund” of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, or the “Extraordinary 2025” Project of Fudan University.

3. Qualified applicants will receive an official invitation to participate in the Forum before April 30th, 2017.
Costs
For invited applicants, Fudan University will provide travel allowances and arrange their meals and accommodation during the Forum.

About Fudan University
Fudan University was establishedin 1905and initially known as Fudan Public School. In the 1970s, the University was changed to a modern, comprehensive-style university. In 2000, Fudan merged with Shanghai Medical University to form the current Fudan University with a broaderset of academic disciplines.
