On April 26, scientists from China and Sweden had a high-level academic dialogue in Yifu Science and Technology Building of Fudan University. The dialogue was part of the Sino-Swiss Quantum and Nano Process Summit initiated by CAS Academician Shen Xue. The Summit was co-organized by Fudan University, Shanghai University and Chalmersi University of Sweden.
Professor Shen Jian, Director of Department of Physics at Fudan University, Lisette Lindahl, Consul General of the Swedish Consulate in Shanghai, and Yu Yingjie, Vice Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Automation, Shanghai University, and Johan Liu, Academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences, addressed to the audience on the purpose and significance of the event.
The Summit included a total of 20 academic reports and was divided into four sub-forums presided by Anders Palmqvist, Liu Ran, Hanna Härelind, and Zhang Yuanbo respectively, during which 9 scientists from Sweden exchanged their ideas with the Chinese scholars.
With more than 80 teachers and students attending the event, the Summit set up a bridge of friendship in physics and laid a good foundation for further cooperation.
