On the evening of September 26th released the Times Higher Education World University 2019. The ranking of Fudan University has risen by 11, and ranks 105th in the world. Among the different indexes, its teaching ranks 48th in the world, and its research ranks 78th. Since 2016, Fudan has secured upward mobility in the THE rankings, and it has advanced more than 50 places over the years, steadily progressing to a world-class university.
The rankings are based on the data gathered in 2016, reflecting Fudan’s achievement before implementing the “Double First-class” scheme. Since the official launching of the “Double First-class” scheme in 2017, Fudan has further optimized the lay-out of the new disciplines, promoted the research fields and disciplines catering to the demand of the society, and simulated integration and innovation. Therefore, the University has the confidence to believe that it is sure to make greater new advancement in future.
