Fudan University's Participation in HSK Study-in-China Fairs in Laos, Vietnam, and Japan

Fudan University places high importance on promoting study opportunities in China and actively engages in international education fairs and employment expos to increase global outreach. In October 2024, Fudan representatives attended the HSK Study-in-China and Employment Fairs held in Vientiane (Laos), Hanoi (Vietnam), and Tokyo (Japan), alongside representatives from 27 other Chinese universities including Tsinghua, Peking, and Nanjing universities.

 

Laos (Vientiane)

Hosted for the first time in Laos, this event attracted over 900 participants, mainly students and educators. Liu Xiaolong, Deputy General Manager of CTI (Hanban International), highlighted the fair's role in fostering China-Laos educational and cultural exchanges. Numerous Lao students expressed interest in Fudan University’s programs and study opportunities.

Vietnam (Hanoi)

The fourth HSK Study-in-China fair in Hanoi, co-organized by CTI, gathered more than 6,000 visitors. At Fudan's booth, the university's representatives addressed questions on programs, scholarships, student life, and career development. A seminar was also held at Finheka University for representatives to discuss international education collaboration.

Japan (Tokyo)

The ninth HSK Study-in-China and Employment Fair saw over 2,000 attendees. Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao and other officials attended the opening. Director Su Kui spoke on Fudan’s commitment to supporting international students' study in China. Many Japanese students showed interest in exchange and pre-college programs, internships, and cultural events at Fudan.

Additionally, the Fudan delegation visited universities in both Vietnam and Japan, exchanging insights on educational systems and Chinese language learning trends. This outreach helped provide prospective students with a clear and detailed understanding of Fudan University and fostered further opportunities for educational collaboration.
